Jasper Morrison designs all his furniture based on the philosophy that "discreet objects are better for creating a good atmosphere than conspicuous ones".His sense for discreet and understated design is especially reflected in the 'Taro' series, which omits superfluous details and focuses on the material. Wood is at the heart of the 'Taro' series and is therefore also made from Fredericia Furniture's finest quality quartz-sawn oak, sourced from trees that are almost 150 years old. This ensures the beautiful marbling in the grain of the wood and at the same time Fredericia Furniture helps to minimise the loss of superfluous wood.

The simple design of the tables makes them ideal in any home, where they can easily be combined with matching chairs in wood or in unique upholsteries and colours. The different shapes of the tables open up all kinds of gatherings, from family dinners in the home alone, meetings in offices or to larger restaurants and hotels.

• Available in soap-treated, light oiled or smoked oiled oak.
• When cleaning soaped and untreated a soft cloth, heavily wrung in a mild solution of soap flakes. Always wipe in the grain direction of the wood. Never use water on untreated wood surfaces if it can be avoided.
• When cleaning oiled wood, a mild solution of soap flakes or a cleaner for oil-treated wood surfaces is recommended. New oil must then be added to prevent the wood from drying out.
