The beautiful and compact Raku SH8 table lamp was designed by Sebastian Herkner in 2022. The ceramic base is covered with a glaze that gives the lamp a crackled pattern. The lampshade is made of rounded metal, to complement the more poetic ceramic base. There are subtle perforated details along the edge of the shade, allowing the light to diffuse softly into the surroundings.
The Raku SH8 table lamp is named after the traditional Japanese ceramic technique. The lamp is inspired by an ancient art form, which gives the lamp its beautiful crackled pattern. The crackled look is meant to be a reminder to enjoy being present. The lamp has a dimmable function that can change the intensity of the light.
