The About a Chair Collection is one of HAY's most distinctive series, embracing a range of chairs that, with the same starting point, each have their unique design and purpose. Danish Hee Welling, with his own love for art and design has created a collection that captures the essence of HAY's unique design spirit, while being functional and aesthetic. The curvaceous design language seen in the chair's seat is echoed and complimented with a host of beautiful textiles, contemporary materials and functional details.
About a Chair 223 is composed of a wooden base that gives the chair a cozy and informal look and a wide shell, with armrests and high backrest that create an embracing design. A simple design that fits into any interior with a wide variety of modern colours and three finishes; matt lacquered, soap-treated and black stained.
