Crate Side Table

TheCrate Side Table is part of an iconic collaboration between Danish HAY and Dutch Rietveld Originals. The Crate Collection is a collection of wooden furniture based on Dutch designer Gerrit Rietveld's classic Crate chair, designed in 1934. The vision behind the chair was to make excess wood from shipping crates useful, and the geometric crate shape is repeated in the collection's design. Rietveld's design philosophy revolved around creative functionality and modern design at affordable prices, which one-to-one align with the values that HAY exudes.

The side table is constructed from simple wooden boards assembled at right angles, with a focus on simplicity. The table legs are integrated into the overall construction of the table, which has a classic plank table top and a plate at the bottom of the table. The Crate Side Table can be combined with the different chairs in the Crate Collection, which together will give a beautiful whole to the furniture arrangement

• Materials Made of pine wood with two-layer water-based lacquer finish. Supplied with standard black plastic glides.
• Assembly The furniture is delivered partially assembled.
• Specifications The furniture is lacquered with a primer and two layers of coating, making the furniture suitable for outdoor use.
• Care instructions The furniture is relatively maintenance-free. However, if the furniture is used outdoors, it is recommended to store it in a dry and dark place during the winter months.
