"About A Table" from HAY is a simple, minimalist and timeless piece. The table is composed of a tabletop and a frame. The legs of the base are raised with a rope in between, giving a light and fresh look. Therefore, there is plenty of leg room under the table and you can be many around it. You can gather the whole family or all friends around such a beautiful table. The frame is repeated by the sister series "About a chair" where many of the chairs also have the powder coated frame. For example, you can combine chairs from "About a chair" with "About a Table" from the same family where there is a common thread. The tables come in three different heights and several different table top sizes. The whole About A series is designed by the Danish designer Hee Welling. Hee Welling has his own studio in Copenhagen. He is one of the great furniture designers in Denmark and has therefore received a number of fine awards. His interest started at a young age where he then studied in Helsinki and has a master degree from the Danish Royal Academy of Arts where he is now a lecturer himself.
