Dining chair from Normann Copenhagen

Timb Armchair Upholstery

The Timb Armchair Upholstery from Normann Copenhagen, designed by Simon Legald, is a testament to solid craftsmanship and understated elegance. The frame is crafted from solid ash, while the seat and back are made of ash veneer, both painted and lacquered. The chair's special construction with traditional dowel joints allows the wood to stand out as a central structural and visual element, creating a clean expression. The wide, comfortable seat and backrest profile, upholstered with PU foam and covered with either Ultra leather from Sørensen Leather or Hallingdal textile from Kvadrat, rests on a slender frame that promises long durability and timeless appeal.

This dining chair fits beautifully into both private homes and professional environments such as offices or restaurants. Its subdued silhouette and choice of tonal colours like Tan, Black, and Brown make it easy to integrate into a Nordic colour palette, allowing it to complement various textiles and furniture. Consider combining it with a simple, solid wood table to highlight the warmth of the ash wood, or let it stand as an elegant feature at a desk. The Timb Armchair Upholstery creates an inviting atmosphere where form and function unite in perfect harmony.
