Lounge chair from Normann Copenhagen

Limit Lounge Chair

The Limit Lounge Chair from Normann Copenhagen, originally designed by Niels Bendtsen in 1974, is a lounge chair created with a focus on material efficiency and structural clarity. The chair is constructed with a slender steel frame, available in either powder-coated steel for indoor use or galvanized and powder-coated steel for outdoor use. The upholstery consists of a UV-resistant, PVC-coated PET inner layer with an open mesh structure, combined with a comfortable padded outer layer of textile or leather, which can be easily replaced to extend the chair's lifespan. This construction results in a lightweight, durable, and visually striking lounge chair that exudes understated elegance and solid quality.

This compact lounge chair works beautifully in a variety of settings, from the living room to a cozy reading nook or as a stylish element in the entryway. Its timeless design and clean lines fit into the Nordic aesthetic and can be easily combined with other furniture in wood or metal to create a harmonious atmosphere. Consider placing it next to a low side table with a warm light source to invite relaxation, or let it stand alone as a striking design statement.
