Coffee Table from Normann Copenhagen

Bit Side Table

The Bit Side Table from Normann Copenhagen, designed by Simon Legald, is a piece of furniture that draws inspiration from architectural forms such as monoliths. The table is crafted from recycled Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) derived from industrial and household plastic waste, combined with a smaller proportion of new PE. Using a rotational molding technique, small plastic pieces are formed into a single, waterproof element, creating its characteristic pixelated surface. This unique manufacturing process ensures that each individual Bit Side Table is one-of-a-kind with its own play of colors and pattern, testifying to solid craftsmanship and a timeless expression.

This versatile side table works beautifully in many rooms of the home, from the living room to the bedroom as an elegant bedside table. Its lightweight construction makes it easy to move around, and its robust nature makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, for example, on the patio. Combine the Bit Side Table with soft textiles and a Nordic color palette to create an inviting atmosphere, or let it stand as a striking element in a more minimalist expression. It is ideal as a pedestal for a favorite lamp or a green plant.
