Stool from FRAMA

Low Stool 01

The Low Stool 01 from FRAMA, designed by FRAMA Studio, is a stool with a solid frame of Baltic birch and a seat of birch plywood. The visible joints bear witness to honest craftsmanship, drawing parallels to 19th-century Nordic auditoriums and churches. The surface is either oiled with organic hard wax and oils or lacquered, depending on the variant, ensuring a durable finish that will develop a beautiful patina over time. The understated form and solid construction make the stool a timeless piece of furniture. A built-in footrest contributes to comfort.

The stool is a versatile piece of furniture that works beautifully as an extra seating element in the living room, as an elegant bedside table, or as a practical side table next to an armchair. Its simple silhouette fits into Nordic interiors and complements a palette of natural colors and materials. Combine it with the FRAMA Chair 01 to create a harmonious expression, as they share typology and seat height, allowing the room to breathe with a sense of calm and solid quality.
