Side table from Form & Refine

Journal Side Table

The Journal Side Table from Form & Refine is a compact side table created by Jonas Herman from Herman Studio. The table is made from solid FSC-certified European oak and oak veneer, where a special jointing technique using milled thin veneer sheets in the solid wood provides both strength and a light, elegant expression. The soft, rounded edges where the legs meet the tabletop are a characteristic feature, demonstrating solid craftsmanship and an understated Scandinavian aesthetic. The surface is treated with natural oil or white oil, which highlights the wood's beautiful grain and ensures timeless quality.

This versatile table finds its place in many rooms of the home. Use it as a practical coffee table in the living room, a stylish bedside table in the bedroom, or as a discreet storage solution next to your favorite armchair. The Journal Side Table fits beautifully into Nordic interiors, where clean design and natural materials create a calm atmosphere. Combine it with soft textiles and ceramics in muted shades to emphasize its warm expression.
