Dining Table from Bruunmunch

Playdinner Round - Ø120 Extendable Dining Table

The PLAYdinner Round from Bruunmunch is a round, extendable dining table, designed by Henrik Bruun and Jacob Munch in 2012. Each table is handcrafted in Denmark from solid wood – either European oak or American walnut – with a carefully selected tabletop of continuous, solid wood lamellas, ensuring a harmonious grain pattern. The precisely crafted joints for the extension leaves are almost invisible, emphasizing the understated elegance and solid craftsmanship. The table is built to last for many years and can be extended as needed with extension leaves in matching solid wood or black MDF.

This timeless dining table fits beautifully into modern Nordic interiors and is ideal for both everyday use and special occasions. With its round shape, it invites good conversations and togetherness in the dining room or open-plan kitchen. Combine it with chairs in light materials for an airy expression, or choose upholstered chairs to add warmth and comfort. The table's clean lines and natural materials act as a calm anchor in the room, allowing other furniture and textiles to stand out.

Solid Wood
Being a natural material, each wooden piece of furniture is inherently unique. Over time, wood undergoes a transformative process, its colors and textures evolve, bestowing the furniture with a beautiful patina. Grain patterns, knots, and color variations are all natural hallmarks of wood.

Daily Maintenance
Daily cleaning is easily done with a well-wrung cloth in clean water. Do not use chemicals, detergents, scouring pads, steel wool or similar, as these will discolour or damage the surface.

Care
It is important that you regularly maintain your oiled or soap treated furniture. We recommend that you treat your furniture 2-4 times a year or according to need.

Contact your retailer for care products or find them online at www.bruunmunch.com where you can also find a full treatment guide.
