Scheurebe Beerenauslese.
This cross between Riesling and the Buket grape is named after its breeder Georg Scheu.
Scheurebe likes light, stony soils and produces aromatic flavors sometimes reminiscent of cassis or gooseberry when grown carefully.
Late botrytis attacks combined with dry weather produce spectacular and sumptuous wines.

Scheurebe has a light golden yellow color in the glass. The aroma is fruity with blackcurrant, grapefruit, melon, pineapple and physalis; refreshing acidity with viscous fruit sweetness; opulent and lingering fruitiness.

Suitable as: aperitif, with Asian dishes, with desserts and with cheese.
