Nara Coat Stand 1880 by Shin Azumi

The 'Nara' pedestal table, designed by Japanese Shin Azumi, combines beautiful sculptural symbolism with functionality and quality in one. The mute reflects the deer antlers and takes its name from the Japanese city of Nara, known for its wild deer. As well as being a sculptural addition to the home, 'Nara' is a practical way to organise the entrance hall or wardrobe, with plenty of space for jackets, scarves and hats alike.

• Finished in lacquered oak or ash with a powder coated steel base.
• For cleaning lacquered wood, a mild solution of soap flakes or all-purpose cleaner is recommended. Then polish with a dry soft cloth. Never leave liquids on lacquered wood surfaces as this may cause the lacquer to delaminate.
• When cleaning powder-coated aluminium, it is recommended to use a damp cloth with a mild detergent. For severe stains and scratches, stronger cleaning agents can be used with care. Avoid cleaning agents with exfoliating or abrasive properties as they may permanently damage the surface.
