Section Wooden Bowl

A functional and decorative wooden bowl from Section Wooden Bowl, designed by Form & Refine. The name Section refers to a cross-section in a raw wooden plank. The processing of the raw wooden plank affects the shape and expression and the many layers of wood fibres become more and more apparent in this process. Cutting away parts of the wood not only emphasises the wood, but also gives form and function to the product.

The wooden bowl is both functional and decorative. It is large enough to store fruit and vegetables, but also small enough to hold small everyday items. The wood fibres make each bowl unique, which is especially highlighted on the outside in the way it is carved.

• Care instructions: Not dishwasher safe. Use a clean, dry cloth, preferably a cotton cloth, for daily cleaning. Avoid scouring pads or synthetic cloths as they can cause scratches. Remove dirt with a damp cloth wrung out in clean water. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the furniture. Use only mild soap and avoid solvent-based cleaners.
