Step vase

The shape of the step vases was built up step by step by several horizontal layers, and it is the imprint of these many layers that has created the beautiful surface texture of the final vases. Soft and free silhouettes provide counterplay to the straight lines of the pattern, and create balance in the expression. As the shape is not symmetrically round, the vases change character, depending on the angle from which they are seen. The series includes a tall vase in brown or clear glass, a medium version in steel blue, and a low version in brown. The neck of the vase is lengthened the larger the model, so that the three sizes each have their own character and fit different flower and bouquet types.
