Piet Hein took few elements of life for granted - even something as simple as a vase was not a given for him. Inspired by the columns of the old town hall in Copenhagen, he used a mathematical twist to transform the traditional cylinder shape into the unique piece we now know as the Twister vase. This masterpiece combines a remarkable sculptural aesthetic with the functionality of a beautiful vase suitable for flowers and branches.
