The Bit Lounge Chair from Normann Copenhagen, designed by Simon Legald, is a striking piece of furniture with a unique expression. The chair is manufactured in Italy from recycled plastic waste, primarily industrial LDPE waste, supplemented with a smaller proportion of new PE. This special material composition gives each chair a unique pattern and play of colours, where melted plastic pieces form a pixelated, textured surface. It is produced using a rotational moulding technique, resulting in a robust and waterproof construction in one continuous element, testifying to solid quality and timeless design.
