About this product

The sculptural Crooked Candlestick from Normann Copenhagen, designed by Uffe Buchard, is more than just a candlestick. Its twisted silhouette draws inspiration from brutalist architecture and winding staircases, giving it a distinctive, organic expression. Crafted from lacquered aluminum or bronzed brass, it carries a certain weight. The surface, whether matte or glossy, reflects light and causes its curves to change character from every angle, adding a modern, artistic depth to the room.

Place the Crooked Candlestick alone as a strong visual statement on a sideboard, or let it be part of a stylish group for a dynamic expression. Its form catches the eye and casts interesting shadows when a single candle flickers in its flame. Try pairing it with a low, robust ceramic bowl in a complementary color to highlight the contrasts in materials and surfaces. The warm glow from the light beautifully complements the metal's finish, creating an inviting atmosphere.
