Børge Mogensen's 'BM84' was first designed in 1958 and was one of Mogensen's growing portfolio of unique and functional tables that over time became timeless classics both nationally and internationally. Mogensen's tables were all strongly characterised by his design philosophy of furniture functionality, construction transparency and exquisite quality in terms of good materials. The table is one of the cornerstones of the rest of his many designs, where the simple construction and superb quality set an ideal for the dining table as a concept.

'BM84' is constructed from a simple table top with rounded edges that meet a frame of four round table legs in a beautiful assembly. Elegant spokes under the table add both support to the tabletop but also form a beautiful signature detail it is fitted with sophisticated brass fittings that contrast with the organic look of the wood. The simplicity of the table makes it easy to integrate into the décor, working in tandem with both office chairs and dining chairs.

• When cleaning oiled wood, a mild solution of soap flakes or a cleaner for oil-treated wood surfaces is recommended. New oil must then be added to prevent the wood from drying out.
• For cleaning varnished wood, a mild solution of soap flakes or all-purpose cleaner is recommended. Then polish with a dry soft cloth. Never leave liquids on lacquered wood surfaces as this may cause the lacquer to delaminate.
