Revolt

Back in the 1950s, Friso Kramer designed the original Revolt Chair when working in Ahrend. One of Friso Kramer's most famous designs, the Revolt Chair, expresses his distinctive minimalist style; a revolutionary design and choice of materials in which he uses a bent steel frame rather than traditional steel pipes. HAY pays homage to the classic by using the same processes, so that the functionality and the universal construction are preserved, but with a more responsible choice of material, which consists of a mixture of recycled or new ABS material in different colors.
