Founded in 2002, Tom Dixon has since established itself as a recognised luxury design brand. Tom Dixon, the inimitable creative director and founder, began his career as a self-taught designer in the 1980s, gaining widespread attention with his innovative approach to salvaged furniture. Tom Dixon's design philosophy is characterised by a curiosity about materials and technological innovations. He has always been interested in challenging the boundaries of traditional craftsmanship, which is reflected in his unique designs that often combine raw materials with modern technology. In 2014, Tom Dixon was recognised as 'Designer of the Year' at Maison & Objet in Paris, and his work continues to set new standards for both function and aesthetics in the design world.
