Brass Top Lamp

The 'Brass Top' lamp, designed by Danish Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen, is at once a prime example of the modernist trends of the 1950s and Holm-Sørensen's unique sense of capturing light in figurative designs. The wide sculptural shade with exclusive brass details provides a soft light, resting on an elegant brass base, which together create an asymmetrical masterpiece with an attractive light. As a unique detail, in keeping with the style of the 50s, the lamp is switched on via a traditional pull-light switch, which helps to give the lamp the finishing touch.
