About this product

The Tay Shelf from MUUBS combines Nordic craftsmanship with a calming Eastern aesthetic. The shelf is crafted from solid oak, treated with either a natural oil, which allows the wood's light character to shine through, or a dark oil, which provides a deep, smoked finish and highlights the unique grain pattern. This wall-mounted shelving unit features spacious shelves with a generous width. The timeless design and solid construction attest to robust quality, built to last for generations.

With its clean lines and simple form, the Tay Shelf fits beautifully into any modern home. Place it in the living room to display personal treasures, in the entryway to create an inviting expression, or in the kitchen for cookbook storage. Combine it with other light wood furniture or textiles in natural shades to emphasize the serene Japandi style, which invites calm and balance. The shelf's expression contributes to a harmonious atmosphere that complements a Nordic color palette.
