The minimalist and comfortable Modular Sofa - 2-seater is designed by Emil Thorup. The frame of the sofa is made of steel and the cover is made of a heavy upholstery with high density foam. The Italian-inspired sofa has a floating look with its matte and fine black steel legs, as well as the heavy upholstery that gives a fluffy look. The Modular Sofa - 2 seater will hold its shape for years, as it has a flexible steel backrest and a unique fibre cushion. The furniture is made as building blocks, so you can put the sofa together as you like in many possible combinations.
Emil Thorup is the founder of Handvärk, and formerly known as a TV presenter, who has always had a passion for design and architecture. The founder's designs are inspired by the Bauhaus movement, and he strives for simple designs as well as a warm Nordic expression.
