The 'EJ315' series is designed by Erik Jørgensen, who is known for his classic and functional sofas. The sofa is part of his original collection - outside the Erik Jørgensen Studio - representing Erik Ole Jørgensen's original design values which were particularly characterized by his sense of materials, compositions and high level of detail. Through his years as a furniture architect, he has built up a large portfolio of different sofas, all of which share these values.

The series also showcases the superb carpentry that underpins the final look and quality of the furniture. The frame is made of machined wood with a clear structure and grain, adding an organic element to the furniture. The seat is constructed with a tightly padded shell with perfectly proportioned cushions that balance a sophisticated look with comfort. Over a hundred buttons are hand-stitched onto the cushions to create a visually playful look that also embraces contemporary trends. An upright backrest and high armrests help to create a formal seating experience that is ideal in conversational environments or in lobbies as well as hotels.

• Frame in black lacquered, soap treated or light oiled oak as well as oiled walnut. Seat with blind frame in wood. Cushions upholstered in solid foam, covered in desired textile or leather type.
• Avoid allowing textiles and leather to come into contact with liquids or oils. If stains occur, professional cleaning is recommended. When cleaning frames, use a damp cloth without harsh chemicals.
• When cleaning oiled wood, a mild solution of soap flakes or a cleaner for oil-treated wood surfaces is recommended. New oil must then be added to prevent the wood from drying out.
