Lounge chair from Bruunmunch

Lobster Chair - Front Upholstered

The Lobster Chair – Front Upholstered from Bruunmunch is an iconic piece of furniture, created by the design duo Lund & Paarmann. The shell is handcrafted in Europe from moulded walnut veneer, assembled from precision-cut veneer pieces that form the chair's organic silhouette. The exterior is finished in lacquered walnut veneer, while the interior is upholstered in leather – either a soft Semi-Aniline leather with a subtle sheen or a velvety Aniline leather that develops a beautiful patina over time. The chair's base is made of steel, either powder-coated black or satin chrome stainless steel, both with a practical 360° swivel function.

This lounge chair fits beautifully into the living room as a striking element, but also works elegantly in a spacious hallway or bedroom, where it invites tranquility. Combine it with a low wooden side table and a soft throw to emphasize the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The understated elegance and solid quality make the Lobster Chair a timeless design that complements the Nordic interior style.

As a natural material, leather requires looking after. If you care for the leather in the right way, it will become even more beautiful over time.

The care and maintenance of leather will always depend on the specific way in which it is used, the conditions of use and how often it is used.

Passion Leather

Vacuum clean once or twice a month with a soft brush to remove any dust. Once or twice a year for thorough cleaning, use the foam from soap flakes stirred in warm water. Apply the foam with a dry soft cloth, minimizing any contact with water. Avoid bar soap, saddle soap, leather cleaners, household detergents or chemical products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects.

Lacquered Veneer

Molded veneer, finished with a layer of clear lacquer. Veneer is a natural material, and as a result, colors and grain patterns may vary from one piece of furniture to another. The surface develops a patina over time. Protect it from direct sunlight and sharp objects.

Never use abrasive cleaners, including steel wool and polish, on veneer.

For daily cleaning, wipe the furniture with a clean, damp cloth. Stains and dirt can be removed with a solution of warm water and all-purpose cleaner. Immediately remove excess water and dry with a clean, dry cloth to prevent watermarks.

Powder-Coated Steel

Regularly dust off with a soft, dry cloth.

Satin Chrome-Plated Stainless Steel

Chrome surfaces are resistant to dirt and liquids.
