Bent Karlby designed the PEANUT lamp back in 1946, when flourescent lighting were extremely popular. Karlby disliked this harsh and cold lighting, so he designed this lamp.

The PEANUT lamp provides a wonderfully soft and comfortable illumination to the room and is also beautiful to look at with its organic shape and beautiful brass details on the top and bottom. The light diffuser in the brass base can be easily removed if desired. This provides more direct lighting.

The lamp can be hung alone or in clusters.
