The Gesja series is designed by Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen. The series is inspired by the Rococo design expression. Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen have run a design studio together since the late 70s and are called "the grand old men" in Danish furniture design. In addition to the Gesja series, they have also designed the Mikado and Butler series. Like the rest of the furniture from FDB Møbler, the Gesja series is designed with a focus on functionality and simple design at a reasonable price. The tables are made of FSC-certified, matt lacquered oak from European forests. In addition, the table top is covered with linoleum.
