The table is made from 100% travertine, an interesting and timeless material characterized by its extraordinary structure and unique patterns. To minimize unnecessary waste, Edge is designed to take advantage of the way the travertine material is mined. The natural stone is quarried in a travertine quarry and then cut into slabs of different sizes.
The Edge Coffee Table consists entirely of square travertine slabs of different sizes that are assembled in a simple, geometric construction. This way, the different slabs are utilized to get the most out of the material, and the geometric construction of the table casts exciting shadows and adds a dynamic expression to the design. Edge is characterized by minimalist, clean lines that complement the dynamic play and organic look of the natural material.
