Since 2014, Danish children's brand Konges Sløjd has been producing beautiful, high-quality products made from pure natural materials for families with children. With an eye for aesthetics and a beating heart for responsibility, founder Emilie Konge has not only taken Denmark by storm – she has also managed to spread Konges Sløjd to the rest of the world. About Konges Sløjd

Back in 2014, when young Emilie Konge had just become a mother, she became frustrated at not being able to find toys and interior design items for her little son that were free of chemicals and at the same time had a design that fit into a modern, Nordic home. This gave rise to the idea for Konges Sløjd, which is now one of Denmark's leading children's brands. From the outset, Emilie's focus has been on creating a brand where simplicity, functionality and responsibility are paramount.

Responsibility at Konges Sløjd

At Konges Sløjd, they see it as their natural obligation to offer responsible and sustainable textiles, interior design and toys for our children. Their products are created with consideration for the natural world around us and with a view to bringing joy to generation after generation. All Konges Sløjd textiles are made from organic cotton, and in 2022 they launched a new collection in which all products are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton. GOTS certification indicates that the products are manufactured with environmental and social responsibility throughout the entire production and supply chain. Konges Sløjd's goal is that all their products will be made from GOTS-certified organic cotton in the future, as they want to protect the environment as much as possible.
