Sideboard from FORMARKIVET

Cubio Sideboard

The Cubio Sideboard from FORMARKIVET is a sculptural storage unit, designed to give character to a room with its open surfaces for displaying personal items and art. It was created by FORMARKIVET Studio and is made entirely of aluminum with a raw finish, where the material's soft, geometric frame and shelf surfaces meet in a refined balance between form and function. Each piece of furniture has a unique surface structure with small irregularities and micro-scratches, which are a natural part of the raw aluminum and contribute to the furniture's authentic expression. Over time, oxidation, scratches, and fingerprints will develop into a beautiful patina, emphasizing the Cubio Sideboard's timeless and solid quality.

This striking sideboard works beautifully in a living room, hallway, or bedroom, where it can offer practical storage and serve as a central element in the decor. Its industrial yet elegant expression fits well with the Nordic color palette and can be advantageously combined with other furniture from the Cubio collection to create a cohesive interior. Imagine it with a row of books, a minimalist vase, or a few hand-picked art objects that highlight the furniture's understated elegance and create an inviting atmosphere in the home.
