Vase from Muuto

Ridge Vase

The Ridge Vase from Muuto, designed by Studio Kaksikko, is a beautiful union of sculptural form and function. Its characteristic silhouette is inspired by architectural doorways and features a refined, vertical indentation that elegantly holds flowers in place and creates an intriguing play of shadows. Choose between acid-treated mouth-blown frosted glass with a soft, diffused surface, or a faience or terracotta version, where the raw, tactile exterior texture contrasts with the smooth, glazed interior. The vase stands as a work of art in itself, adding a sensual, Nordic tranquility to any space.

Whether standing alone as a striking element or holding a selection of seasonal flowers, the Ridge Vase creates an atmospheric setting. Its unique form and detailed surface catch the light in a way that highlights the material's depth. Try combining one of the frosted glass vases with one of the faience or terracotta editions to create a dynamic contrast in texture and expression on a side table or shelf. It invites contemplation from all angles and adds personality to any interior.
