Glass Candles from Studio About is a lovely set of 2 unique glass candles. The glass candles are designed by architect Mikkel Lang Mikkelsen, as a modern reinterpretation of the classic candles. They are long-lasting and smart, as they can be reused again and again, by simply refilling with new wicks and more lamp oil. At the bottom of the candles you will find a small silicone ring that makes them fit in all candlesticks and will stand stable. Light up the candles and let them bring cosiness to your home. Glass Candles translucent glass gives a colourful and beautiful glow.
The set consists of 2 glass candles, funnel for filling oil and 4 wicks, with burning time of over 1000 hours each.
- Use When filling with oil, leave the wick in the glass tube. Then put oil in the candle with the funnel provided in the set. Put a small drop of oil on top of the wick and let 3-5 mm of wick protrude to the flame, so that the flame is not too long. When extinguishing, blow or use a candle snuffer.
- Specifications The candles come in a discreet round cardboard tube. The included wicks have a burn time of over 1000 hours each. It is recommended that you use oil from Alaska, as it is the oil that burns best in the glass candles.
- Material The glass candles are made of coloured & mouth blown borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is known to be a super durable type of glass that can withstand temperature shocks.
