Shelf from Muuto

Folded Shelves / 29,5 X 40 Cm / 11.5 X 15.75"

Folded Shelves from Muuto is a masterpiece of minimalist design, created by Dutch designer Johan van Hengel. The shelf is laser-cut from a single piece of 1.5 mm thick steel, which is then carefully folded to create its distinctive shape. This refined technique eliminates the need for welds and joints, resulting in an exceptionally solid construction. The surface is treated with a durable acrylic powder coating, ensuring a long lifespan and an elegant finish. With a main compartment, a secondary ledge, and two powder-coated steel hooks at the bottom, the shelf offers a discreet yet highly functional storage solution that combines timeless aesthetics with robust quality.

This compact shelf is ideal for bringing order and a touch of understated elegance to any room. It works beautifully in the entryway for keys and small items, in the bedroom as a practical bedside solution, or in the kitchen for spices and small utensils. Folded Shelves fits perfectly into the Nordic interior design style, where its clean lines and color palette complement a bright and airy home. Combine it with other elements in steel or wood to create a harmonious balance, or let it stand alone as a striking design object.
