About this product

The Fiber Counter Stool / Tube Base from Muuto is an elegant interpretation of the classic shell chair, created by the design studio Iskos-Berlin. The chair exemplifies Nordic craftsmanship, with its shell molded from an innovative composite material of recycled plastic and FSC-certified wood fibers. This composition results in a distinctive matte surface with a subtle play in texture. The base, a light and slender tubular construction of powder-coated steel, complements the shell and ensures a solid and timeless seating option. The chair is available without upholstery or fully upholstered in textile, imitation leather, or premium leather, allowing for customization of its expression.

This counter stool fits beautifully at a kitchen island or a higher dining table, inviting relaxed conversations and cozy moments. Its light expression and subdued colors make it easy to integrate into any modern Scandinavian home. Combine it with a simple wooden table or a light-colored kitchen island to highlight its clean lines and understated elegance. The Fiber Counter Stool also works well in an open office environment, where it adds a touch of homely comfort and style.
