Corduroy Table #2, manufactured by renowned Danish manufacturer dk3 and created by talented designer Christian Troels in 2023, encapsulates sophistication in dining table design. Building on the original Corduroy concept introduced in 2018, this iteration exhibits a refined elegance that invites exploration and discovery with every glance.
Remarkably, Corduroy Table #2 showcases a more delicate aesthetic, evident in the slim 30mm tabletop, a departure from the 34mm thickness of its predecessor. An exquisite touch is the continuous, gently curved edge profile that wraps around the periphery of the table, giving it a graceful, organic shape.
To enhance its airiness, the table's legs adopt a softer curve and simplified construction. In contrast to the original Corduroy's unified base, Christian Troels has chosen to provide Corduroy Table #2 with four individual legs, each composed of four matte black powder-coated steel tubes. At one end, these tubes gracefully curl and branch off in different directions, reuniting at the other end into a single unit and culminating in a diamond-cut heel tip, available in either solid brass or stainless steel. This exquisite detail creates a captivating contrast against the background of the black steel tubes.
- Material: Tabletop in oak, smoked oak or walnut with legs in black powder-coated steel.
- Specifications: It is possible to extend it with up to 2 extension leaves, each measuring 50 cm, and these additional leaves can be purchased. Upon request, it is also possible to adjust the table height to 74 cm.
- Care instructions: We recommend using a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the surface of the table regularly. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as these can damage the surface.
